Description
Yves Duport is found in a tiny area of Bugey located near Lyon, France. The vineyard grows Pinot Noir, Mondeuse, Altesse (Rousette) and Chardonnay, focusing on tight, controlled expressions of these varieties. The topography is similar to Savoie, it’s neighbouring region, with the vineyards being planted on high altitude slopes away from the valley floor and planted in fragmented parcels.
This pet nat is light and fruity, with strawberry, red cherries and raspberry flavours. It is juicy and fun, but fermented to full dryness, so has a wonderfully refreshing quality.
