Description
This wine is 87% Sauvignon Blanc, 9% Sauvignon Gris, and 4% Semillon, all from Te Mata’s estate vineyards in Hawke’s Bay, New Zealand. Unlike most of its ‘cousins’ this Sauvignon Blanc based wine is made in the style of Bordeaux Blanc. A fuller wine, which sees some oak barrel fermentation, it is full of aromas and flavors of Passion fruit, grapefruit and pear. Pair with a simple grilled chicken or your favorite goat cheese.
