Distilled at the reveredLa Altea distillery, producing tequila of the highest quality using handcrafted processes since 1937. The cooked agave plants are crushed using a Tahona,a large stone wheel, with the resulting juice and agave fibers mixed in a barrel by foot before fermentation and distillation. Tapatio is double distilled to as close to bottle strength as possible so that the Tequila retains as much of its natural character as possible. Agreat example of a traditional blanco, it is rested for two months in stainless steel tanks post distillation and prior to bottling.
