Description
100% Gamay, this superstar Beaujolais-Villages comes, more specifically, from Beaujolais-Lantigni (which may have existed as an AOC since the 1930s, but for a long time its 110 hectares of vines have been more anonymously labelled as Beaujolais-Villages). This is a must-have for roasted chicken, a baked potato and simple bright green salad. There is much discussion for the designation for this sub-ava to be elevated to cru status; in the meantime, let’s you and I enjoy how totally inexpensive this wonderful wine is and pair it with something off a wood-fired grill…or, a roasted duck breast with French Fries. YUM!
