Description
This wine is 100% Riesling from the Kamptal region of Austria. All the grapes from this wine were sourced from the young vine patches of estate vineyards (Gaisberg & Heiliginstein). This Austrian Riesling is young but it is mighty, overflowing with aromatics and white fruit flavors. Its volcanic/gravel soils deliver a similar, but distinctly different Riesling than its German cousins grown on blue slate. Get this bottle cold in the fridge and serve it with whole roast chicken and potatoes. The good people at Gobelsburg know what they are doing, they’ll be celebrating their 850th anniversary this year.
