Description
This wine is made of 100% Riesling from the Heiligenstein Erste Lage, the Austrian designation for a single vineyard of exceptional quality. The Riesling has complex floral and earthy nose is followed up by pure zippy orchard fruits. Apricots, white peaches, and a hint of river rocks carry through a long, bone-dry finish. We would pair this with Thai meatballs in a creamy coconut curry sauce, and diced mangoes over rice. The dryness, acid, and fruit character of the wine will slice through this rich and slightly sweet dish perfectly. A truly awesome Riesling with legendary roots.
