Description
This wine is made from 100% Zinfandel. Enjoy it with lamb kabobs. The grapes come from 100+ year old vines planted on sand in Los Angeles County. The vines have fully acclimated to their terroir, and have grown deep enough in the sandy soil to find water and nutrients. The vineyard is all dry farmed, and caught the attention of Mikey the winemaker, as well as Rajat Parr. They purchase fruit from the family who owns it and make delicious wines. The palate is full of juicy red berry fruit and cherry cola, with an aromatically expressive nose reminiscent of clove and cinnamon.
