Description
Back by popular demand, Pheasants Tears has been fermented and aged in quevri- a Georgian clay pot traditionally used to ferment and to store wine. They were the first pots ever to be used in wine making in fact, and archaeological digs have unearthed them dating back to 6000 BC.
This wine, is an orange wine made exclusively with a wonderful grape variety known as Mitsvane.
It has a superb oxidative style and it took 6 months of slow oxygen intake to create it. Aromas of dried apricots and deep citrus with a lovely bite of tannin.
