Description
This limited edition Lunazul is the result of a partnership between Tierra de Agaves Distillery (nom 1513) and Kentuckys Heaven Hill Distillery. “Double-barreled”, it ages first in American white oak then finishes inHeaven Hill barrels that previously held 11 year old wheated bourbon.Master distiller Francisco Quijano then blends the spirit with select extra anejo tequila before bottling at 40% abv.
On the nose you find zesty oregano, bell pepper and honey scents, all echoed on the palate. This balanced Tequila sips well, showing vanilla and subtle mint up front before fading into herbaceous oregano, jalapeno, white pepper and cinnamon, and faint cookie dough and vanilla.
