A brother and sister team run this brewery which has been producing sake since 1804. They are pioneers in the use of Omachi rice and using ancient Bodaimoto technique of brewing. the sake that they produce are rich and rustic.
A great example of sake brewed using the traditional Bodaimoto method.
This is a rustic, raw and earthy sake with malt, caramel and cereal all present on the nose. The flavours are smoothly presented, well-balanced, rich and deep. Again, caramel, malt and cereal are the predominant flavours and, when warmed, Rocky Mountain favours the sweeter caramel notes.
Enjoy with rich foods such as game, blue cheese, and meaty dishes. Fantastic with a Sunday roast.
