A blend of Barbados and Guyana rums that first aged 10 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being shipped to Jerez, Spain, where they then mingled together for 5 more years in casks that previously held 20 year Pedro Ximenez Sherry.True to its name, this is a luxurious rum with a striking, rich color and intense aroma to match, with aromas of vanilla, almond husk, tobacco and black tea, leading to elegant flavors of dried fruit and spice on the palate, with a finish thats rich and velvety. Bottled at 40% abv.
