Description
Dorper is the passion project created by Reg Holder (previously of Delheim winery) and viticulturist Etienne Terblanche, focusing on using Burgundian sensitivities of terroir when growing Pinotage and Chenin Blanc.
This wine is 100% Chenin Blanc, using a blend of grapes from different parcels in vineyards around the Bottelary Hills region of Stellenbosch. It has been fermented and aged in old oak barrels and has the telltale aromas of wet hay, crunchy pear and wet stone. It is aromatic and intensely flavoured with a lingering finish.
