Description
This wine is made of 97% Tempranillo and 3% Graciano (Gra-thee-ano). ‘Raposo’ comes from 50-100 year old vineyard sites in Rioja Alavesa at 500 meters of elevation, and is 100% biodynamic. Winemaker Sandra Bravo aims to pay homage to the people of Villabuena de lava with this bottling. This wine has the character and purity of this amazing area. Crunchy bramble and red cherry fruit unfold into a palate thats savory, dense and serious with the potential to age. We’d love to pair this with a grilled sirloin, asparagus, and smashed potatoes fried in duck fat.
