Crafted from Nebbiolo 85% and Vespolina 15%, this tense and electric Northern Italian Ghemme fromRomagnano Sesia (province of Novara) in the Upper Piedmont presents a rich garnet color and reflects many of the powerful aspects of similarly crafted Barolo but with more finesse and bright Burgundian fruit. We love this wine decanted and served with roast lamb, rustic game braised in tomato, or a favorite carryout pizza loaded with toppings. NOT to be missed.
