Description
This fantastic Pinot Noir comes from Pfalz in Germany. Pfalz lies between the Haardt mountains and the River Rhine in southwest Germany quite near to Alsace. Grapes thrive here; in a similar way to Alsace, the mountains protect the area from the cold and wet Atlantic weather and so it is one of the warmer, drier regions of Germany.
The Pinot Noir used to create this delectable wine is from a single, organic south facing vineyard. The wine was made using natural yeasts to spontaneously ferment in old oak casks. Then rested in American and French casks.
In the mouth, bright fruits, spice – well balanced and with soft tannins. We are big fans of this vegan wine. Please give it a try.
