This wine is made of 100% Chardonnay, a very unusual varietal for this region coming to us from the famous Sancerre producer, Alphonse Mellot. We recommend a decant and service of this special wine with halibut and a beurre blanc…don’t forget the buttery rice! Did you know that Alphonse Mellot is a 500+ year, 19th generation producer?
