The Boulevardier was originally mixed up by Erskine Gwynne, the publisher of a magazine that shared the same name.Erskine created his publication and his cocktailforexpats living in Paris, and the name was a nod to the wealthy and fashionable socialites who strolled the Parisian Boulevards.Colloquially, a “boulevardier” came to refer to a man about town,how fitting then for a modern Boulevardierto take his Boulevardier about with them.
