The “Tropical Manhattan” is an evergreen cocktail idea, injecting the perfect if austere classic some bright and sultry elements to freshen the aesthetic. Though it’s been done beautifully before in classics like the El Presidente or the Palmetto, it’s never been done quite like this. Instead of leaning on Rum as the Rye stand-in, Olehna’s Turmeric and Ginger spirit brings a totally different spin on the idea, with fruity-spiced bitters tying it all together.
