Description
This release from Whistlepig features Canadian rye whiskey aged 12 years in new American Oak before finishing in a combination of Madeira (63%), Sauternes (30%), and Port (7%) casks. A lovely nose has scents of fruit jam, rye spice, caramel, and toffee. The palate features flavors of red berries, black pepper, raisin, and cinnamon, with light spice and fruit lingering through a medium finish.
