One of the new cult favorite Tequila producers, Cazcanes has recently begun dipping their toes (and their delicious Tequila) into the “Rosa Tequila” pool (tequila aged in wine barrels). The Rosa Blanco begins with their Still Strength Blanco (54% ABV), which is then placed in a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, first-fill French Oak cask. It was aged for 31 days and then bottled at 50% ABV. A great and rare example of wine-aged Tequila at a higher proof.
