Casa Ferreirinha is situated in the Douro area of Portugal. This is a typically hot area which is reflected in the wines – they are concentrated in body and flavour.
This is a rich and structured white, with a refreshing acidity that balances the pronounced zesty fruit the 2021 vintage was an unusually wetter one benefitting budbreak for the grapes and allowing a more balanced level of acidity to ripeness. The hue is bright yellow, with aromas of mango, apricot and orange blossom, with a rich creaminess from the oak ageing.
