Description
Cave de Hunawihr are a cooperative winemaking company based in the Haut-Rhin Hunawihr commune of Alsace, France. The wines are made in classic Alsace style – single varietal expressions made in a way that showcases the fresh, primary fruit characteristics of the grape with noticeable acidity and intensity of flavour.
This Pinot Gris has the distinctive aromas and flavours of smoke and fleshy stone fruits, with the potential of developing honeyed notes after ageing in bottle. It has an oily mouthfeel that is also typical of the variety, with a higher level of residual sugar.
