Description
Bruno Lafon grew up in Burgundy where he learnt the art of winemaking at the family winery, Domaine des Comtes Lafon. However, 2 decades ago he decided to move to the South France to carry the knowledge and desire of making great quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in an area that wasn’t particularly known for it, using fruit particularly from cooler sites.
This Chardonnay is unoaked, and has plump expressions of fleshy peach and pineapple, leading through to a certain nuttiness on the finish. It is intentionally elegant and fresh, a perfect accompaniment to soft cheeses!
