Description
While some of the most prized Roses in the world are produced in the Provence region of Southern France, the price tag on those can be a little startling for everyday drinking. Yet just a short drive to the west, benefiting from the same Mediterranean climate, the 100% Carignan grapes used for Saint Laurand Rose thrive in the chalky clay soils on sunny hillsides– and the cost is as relaxed as a lazy summer afternoon. A medium pink color, with appealing flavors of strawberry and raspberry without being too dry. It is round and appealing and perfect with salads and grilled fish.
