This 2017 Red Blend by The Cleaver is a blend of California Zinfandel, Syrah, and Petite Sirah.
With Zinfandel the forefront of the blend, this red has pronounced notes of black cherry, blackberry, and chocolate with a slight hint of pepper.
This wine is semisweet has a jammy character to the nose with an almost syrupy, rich texture. 85 points from Wine Enthusiast. The Cleaver can stand up to spicy dishes and pairs great with pork.
