Description
This wine is made of 100% Garnacha de Aragn, the oldest clone of Garnacha in the world. Sourced from younger bush vines at very high altitudes, this is Breca’s freshest expression of Garnacha from Calatayud. This wine shows prominent flavors of dark cherries and grilled plums with an added minerality from the slate and quartz soils of the region. Powerful but light, this Garnacha will sure to please with some creative barbecue: grilled garam masala lamb chops or a smoky seared octopus over boiled potatoes, garnished with olive oil and paprika.
