Description
This wine is made from 100% Dolcetto. We would pair it with a hearty roast chicken, over a bed of fingerling potatoes, leeks, and carrots. The grapes are vinified whole cluster, and aged in stainless steel, producing a fragrant, structured and savory wine. Dolcetto, meaning “little sweet one”, is nonetheless a dry wine, but displays much brighter fruit and slightly more residual sugar in comparison to other Piemontese grapes. The vineyards for this bottling lie in Monforte, which was once considered to be within the Barolo appellation, and speak to the quality of these wines.
