Description
This Bordeaux is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. We would pair this with roasted duck or chicken. Bouquet of blackberry, rose petals & a touch of juniper. The palate is med-bodied with red fruit on the entry: redcurrant, raspberry, and a touch of balsamic. The palate builds to a structured, dense finish with good length. Chteau Castera has been around since it was a military fortress in the 14th century and has undergone extensive renovation to stand as it does today.
