Description
This wine harkens back to a simpler time, before the rise of the NAPA CAB, California Red Wine is firm and rich, but its tannins are more refined and the oak isn’t quite so present on the nose and palette. It is a blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot and 22% Cabernet Franc, from three vineyards scattered throughout the North Coast AVA (Bedrock Vineyard, Las Cimas Vineyard, and Persia Vineyard). Find some delicious saucy sweet bbq, or mole short rib tacos, and put a slight chill on the bottle and watch the evening get ten times better.
