This wine is 100% Riesling from Grosse Lage vineyards in the Mosel. Grosse Lage is the German equivalent of Grand Cru vineyard in French. Further breaking down the label, GG stands for Grosses Gewachs, and serves to delineate the dry wines that an estate produces from its Grosse Lage vineyards. This wine is rich with classic Riesling flavors: granny smith, green pear, lemon, petroleum, and lychee, and of course, very dry.
